Who are the Relief Crafters of America?
Relief Crafters of America (RCoA) is a volunteer-run group that serves to identify humans and animals in need and direct handcrafted fiber products to these groups to provide support.
Each month, RCoA will select a number of regional projects and it’s community of 60,000+ crafters will work to make everything from blankets and sweaters to pet beds and toys.
Our donations will help fund the shipping and distribution of those projects to those in need.
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday began in 2012 when the United Nations Foundation and 92nd Street Y in New York decided to elect the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving as a day to give back.
Since then, it has grown in popularity and is recognized nationwide as an opportunity to share, donate, and support others after a busy shopping weekend.
I wanted to take this opportunity this year to help support an organization that I've been an admirer of for some time, the Relief Crafters of America.
